Best Answer:
Yes..I'm afraid your mums right...2.1 is very low and if it was that low you may well fall into a coma if your levels fall.I would advise you to see a Doctor and have them checked again. Hope my answer helps

  • I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

  • Yes 2.1 is very low and on the way to a hypo. I guess the low results could mean that your diabetic or maybe you were just having a very low sugared day. Talk to your doctor :)

  • Basically it means there is not enough blood sugar, if your worried you could go to a doctor. It is low, blood sugar should be between 4 and 6, so you could retake the test again and make sure you read the leaflet on a home test kit for information on fasting for that particular test

  • Assuming the test strips were not damaged and were in date and the test was otherwise carried out correctly, 2.1 is low and does need investigating. Hypoglycemia is not a disease, it's a symptom and the underlying cause will need to be looked at. Make an appointment to see your GP.

There are two types of hypoglycemia that can occur in people who do not have diabetes; Reactive (postprandial, or after meals) and fasting (post absorptive). Reactive hypoglycemia is not usually related to any underlying disease, fasting hypoglycemia generally is. Normal blood sugar levels are between 4 - 8mmols.

  • It's not on the way to being hypo. It IS hypo. (Hypo is short for hypoglycaemic. Anything below 3.9 mmol/l, or 70 mg/dL is considered hypoglycaemic.)

Who actually tested your blood glucose level and gave you that result?

It's something to bring to the attention of your doctor. S/he would, undoubtedly, offer advice on how best to manage hypoglycaemia.
